• Nationality :
  • The applicant for admission should be a Resident Indian National and should have graduated from Institutions located in India.
• Eligibility Criteria :
  • Candidates should have graduated with a full-time degree from any recognized University with a minimum of 50% aggregate.
  • Candidates appearing for their final degree exam / final semester exam in the current year are also eligible to apply.
  • Candidates should have completed their final Semester / year exams before the selection Counselling/interview at VIT University.
  • It is compulsory for candidates who are selected to produce their final year marks statement and Provisional degree certificate before August 15th, 2014, failing in this attempt will lead to the cancellation of the admission.

  M.Sc. Chemistry (with Specialization in Analytical or Inorganic or Organic or General Chemistry)	B.Sc. Degree in either Chemistry or Applied Chemistry or Applied science from any recognized University with Physics or Mathematics or Biology / Botony / Zoology as ancillary subject
  M.Sc. Electronics	B.Sc. degree from any recognized university with Physics / Applied Sciences / Electronics (or) BES
  M.Sc. Pharmaceutical Chemistry	B.Sc. degree from any recognized university in chemistry or Biochemistry / Botany / Zoology / Biotechnology / Microbiology / Life Sciences with biological science as ancillary subjects or B. Pharm Degree.
  M.Sc. Computer Science	Bachelor's degree from any recognized university in Computer Science / Computer Applications

Candidate will be called for an interview in the order of merit of their aggregate marks secured in their undergraduate degree programmes calculated up to pre-final year (this is inclusive of Languages and all other subjects they have studied upto pre-final year)

• It is mandatory that the candidate has to send the hard copy of the application along with necccessary certificates.

• Step 1 - Registration
  • Candidate should fill the personal information
  • It is mandatory to provide valid email id
  • Candidate Name, Date of Birth and email id cannot be changed. Hence provide correct information
• Step 2 - Filling up of online application form
  • Kindly refer the Information Brochure carefully, before filling the application form.
  • Provide all the relevant details carefully.
• Step 3 - Selection of Mode of payment
  • A Computerized Demand Draft for Rs. 500 /- drawn from any nationalized bank in favour of VIT University payable at vellore.
  • Select the appropriate mode of payment as DD mode or Net banking / Debit card / Credit card Mode
  • Candidates are requested to note down the application number.
  • All the future correspondence will be made on the application number only
• Step 4 - If application fee is paid through Online payment gateway i.e., Net Banking / Credit card / Debit card Facility
  • Select the mode of payment as referred
  • After submitting the payment information, candidate should wait for the intimation from the server, DO NOT press back or Refresh button in order to avoid double charge.
  • On successful completion of transaction, acknowledgement receipt with the transaction number will be generated and you can take the printout of the acknowledgement receipt along with the application form.
  • For Transaction not successful due to network issues / display of error page, if the amount deducted from your account, please wait for 3 working days. If again transaction is found incomplete, send a mail to pgadmission@vit.ac.in.
• Step 5 - Download the application form in the pdf format
  • Download the application form, affix the appropriate photograph and give the signature
  • Enclosed photocopies of
    • X and XII Mark list.
    • Semester / Year wise mark list of your qualifying exam (pre - final year as applicable ) with TC.
